Our story
We're DEVS.AI Unipessoal LDA, a company formed by a couple who have spent years working with artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Like many people, we were constantly juggling credentials — from personal accounts like streaming services to production API keys and developer tokens.
One day, after yet another round of trying to remember which password we used for a simple Netflix login, we decided to build something better: a centralized, trustworthy place to generate and inspect secure credentials without handing them to a random server. That idea became credential.help.
The goal is simple: give you a fast, minimal set of tools that run entirely in your browser, rely on modern crypto APIs, and don't try to capture your data, track you, or upsell you. Just useful utilities for passwords, passphrases, API tokens, UUIDs, JWTs, hashes, usernames and random strings — all in one place.
Outside of credential.help, we work on AI and software projects with clients through our studio, aidevs.pt.

What we care about
Tiny team, clear principles.
credential.help is intentionally small. That lets us focus on doing a few things really well: strong security defaults, transparent behavior, and clean tools that respect your time and your data.
Security-first
We come from a cybersecurity background, so we design each tool around secure defaults: long entropy, safe character sets, and cryptographically secure randomness using browser APIs like crypto.getRandomValues.
Local-first & private
Passwords, tokens, JWTs, hashes, and random strings are generated and processed locally in your browser. We don't log or upload your inputs. If you close the tab, they're gone.
Simple by design
No signup, no dashboards, no bloated UI. Each page does one thing well — generate a password, inspect a token, create an ID — with clear explanations and quick copy actions.
Helpful for devs & humans
We design tools that work equally well for non-technical users and developers building authentication flows, APIs, and secure applications.
No growth hacks
credential.help is bootstrapped and independent. We don't need invasive analytics, email capture walls, or dark patterns. If the tools are useful, you'll come back when you need them.

credential.help is one of the internal projects of DEVS.AI — a studio focused on AI-powered products, developer tooling, and security-conscious solutions.
What we do at DEVS.AI
We work with companies to design and build AI features, internal tools, and secure infrastructure: everything from small prototypes to production-grade systems. credential.help grew naturally out of that work — we kept needing safe, predictable tools for testing authentication flows, token handling, hashing and ID generation.
